My story

I have worked with Paul for over 15 years. Paul and I had worked together looking after mutual clients for a number of years.  I was always impressed by the level of service and care that Paul gave to my clients.  He was proactive, helpful and listened to what the client wanted to achieve and helped to make that happen.  I had a financial planner for a number of years but decided to move to Paul because I felt that he could offer me the level of care and expertise that I wanted and he has.

My goals initially were to see how Paul could help me to achieve a plan that would enable me to reach financial freedom whilst covering outgoings such as school fees in a comfortable and affordable way. At the time, my finances were not in as good order as they could have been and I didn’t have a plan.

Paul has always been someone who inspires trust – he has the ability to explain everything in a straightforward way that you can relate to and makes you feel that you are in safe and reliable hands.  He is also very personable, approachable and has a great sense of humour.

It would be easier to say what the Paul hasn’t done for me as the list is endless from school fees planning, life insurance, pension advice, pointing me in the right direction for mortgage advice, general investment advice as well as succession planning for my business.  In addition to financial planning, Paul has offered me support not only with life decisions but decisions in relation to the running of a successful business.

The results have been that I now have a plan and as Paul says, “if you work to that plan, you can achieve your goals” which I’m hoping will lead to me being able to retire sooner than I expected!  What I’ve been able to do now that I was not able to before, is know what my finances are, why I have them and what I need to do to achieve my goals

I know that I am in good hands and that my finances are being looked after by someone I trust which gives me huge peace of mind. What I particularly value is the care that Paul gives – he is proactive, responsive and always makes time to listen and explain everything really clearly.

I have worked with a number of financial planners over my career and being in professional services myself, I am aware of the levels of service provided by different professionals in my industry.  Paul stands head and shoulders above most, in the way he looks after clients and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to help them achieve their goals.
