About Lanre

I joined Sanlam in 2017 after a successful career as a professional footballer. This is where I saw first-hand the importance of having a tailored financial plan.

I’ve always enjoyed helping people with their finances, so took a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Finance from City, University of London. This provided me with a solid technical foundation before graduating from the Sanlam adviser programme to become part of Aretian Wealth Management, where I now advise a diverse range of clients.

I pride myself on my ability to give clear and concise advice on complex financial circumstances. I place great emphasis on building successful, long-term relationships, and have a genuine desire to help people achieve their life goals.

The part of my job I enjoy the most...

Gaining a deep understanding of my clients’ current and future goals and aspirations. In doing that, I get to really appreciate what is most important to them.

I can then use the latest market technology to build and review tailored financial plans for my clients, ensuring they remain on track to achieve their lifestyle goals, as their needs evolve over time.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me...

I enjoy keeping active, walking outdoors, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
