How can I book an initial meeting?
You can contact your adviser directly, email info@aretianwealth.co.uk or use the Contact us page. The first step is a confidential, no-obligation conversation about how the team may be able to help.
Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?
No. Aretian makes no charge for the introductory stages of its work with you.
What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?
It helps to think about your goals for the future and your current financial situation before the meeting. This gives your adviser a clearer starting point for understanding what matters most to you.
What happens in the first meeting?
The process usually starts with an initial phone call, followed by a discovery meeting. It is a chance for both sides to explore whether you can benefit from Aretian’s advice and whether you feel comfortable and confident working together.
How long should I allow for an initial meeting?
The initial phone call usually takes about 30 minutes. The discovery meeting typically takes between one and one and a half hours.
Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?
No. After your discovery meeting, Aretian will prepare a financial report explaining how you could start tackling your objectives, how the team can help, and the likely charges involved. You will then have a further meeting to discuss the findings, recommendations and your next steps, with no obligation to continue.
Do you have a female adviser I can work with?
Yes. Aretian has one female financial adviser, so you can ask to work with her if that would make you feel more comfortable.
What happens if my financial adviser is away on holiday?
If your financial adviser is away, another adviser in the team can assist with any queries. This means support is still available when you need it.
How often will I hear from my financial adviser?
As a minimum, clients have an annual review meeting once a year. Many clients meet every six months, and some meet quarterly depending on their needs.
Do you offer cashflow forecasting or planning as part of your service?
Yes. Aretian uses Voyant to provide cashflow forecasting as part of its financial planning work.
What happens if my circumstances change?
Your adviser will discuss your circumstances during each review meeting. If something changes between meetings, you are welcome to get in touch at any time.
Can you work alongside my accountant or solicitor?
Yes. Aretian can work alongside your accountant or solicitor, where this helps coordinate your wider financial, tax or legal planning.
